The Corn Picker was invented by Edmund Quincy in 1850. It is used to harvest corn stripping the stalks about one foot from the ground shooting the stalks through the header to the ground. This invention made getting corn far more easier because before people had to do it. Having people do it took a long time but The Corn Picker can get a lot of corn in a short amount of time
