  • Lewis and Clark Expedition

    The Expedition started in the summer of 1803. By winter they reached St. Louis located on the west bank of the MIssissippi River. Although in 1803 it was a sleepy town. They set up to settle there in the winter. They came in contact with a lot of Native Americans, some were dangerous and some really helped them. In the journey they discovered many things Ameicans didn't know about. The Expedition was a success as they made it to the Pacific, and explored the whole Louisiana Territory.
