Palaeolithic period

The Paleolithic is a stage in human prehistory characterized by the use of carved stone instruments, although other "poorly preserved and little known" organic raw materials were also used to build various utensils: bone, horn, wood, leather, vegetable fibers, etc.

The age of metals is the last great period of the traditional division of the three ages, established in 1820 by Christian Jürgensen, who established a classification according to the materials used in each period and which is later than the Bronze Age. Contemporary history, in English historiography, is a subset of modern history that describes the historical period from approximately 1945 to the present. Contemporary history is a subset of the late modern period, or it is one of the three main subsets of modern history, along with the early modern period and the late modern period. The term contemporary history has been used at least since the early 19th century.
