    The Central Intelligence Agency was founded on September 18th, 1947. This organization which was created under president Harry Truman was established to gather intelligence that may be of concern to national security.
  • Marshall Plan

    The Marshall Plan was an initiative by the United States to help European countries after the affects of World War 2. This initiative provided over 10 billion dollars of funds to European countries.

    The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was assembled after the devastating results of WW2. This organization is composed of 30 countries who work together to keep international peace.

    The 22nd Amendment was ratified on February 27th, 1951. This Amendment limited the number of terms a president could serve to two terms.
