By October 1920, they had 100.000 troops in Iraq. -
British Collaborators
The British soon realised that they couldn´t run the country on their own. So they needed colaborators. They called Faisal, member of a leading family in Middle East, to become king of Iraq and a head to a new goernment. -
Discontent
After 35 years of monarchy, Iraq increased and developed in a very incredible way the economy. Despite of this, there were discontent in some aspects:
