Hurricane Carmen started in Africa, 8/29/74 and affected Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, Texas, Louisiana, Yucatán Peninsula, Jamaica, Belize, Lesser Antilles until it finally subdued 9/10/74. In the movie "Forrest Gump" he survived huricane Carmen while shrimpin' on JENNY. -
