Plan for the future
See whether or not regular classes aren't challenging. If they aren't, find ways to advanced in your classes. -
Agenda
After orientation for Freshmen year, I will buy myself an agenda to track myself everyday. -
Find a study group
After a few days in my new classes, and having made new friends. I'll ask them if they'd like to be in a study group with me to homework and help each other with projects. But that's if I have most of my classes with them -
Check my grades weekly
Checking on myself and how much effort I've put in my work in all my classes is better than not having a clue if you'll be in summer school. -
Spend little time on the weekends doing homework
Highschool is stressful, don't work for 4.0 GPA if you have to cancel out the world. So I'll fool around on the weekends and make plans to hang out with friends and family. -
Practice sports and accomplish goals
Sports is fun and highschools will get you in shape for them. From football to water polo, coaches will push you to the limit. And at most times it'll be a stress reliever to lift weights. SO, set goals to stay healthy. -
Reward Yourself
Heck no did you just go through 4 years of drama and suffering to get into Harvard without celebrating any of accomplishments. Rewarding yourself is okay after winning races, acing projects and much more.
