Why- The stock market crashed, U.S businesses expanded too far, Agriculture prices fell.

What-Was a world war that lasted 6 years.
Where-Europe, Russia, Assia, Pacific Ocean, Middle East, Atlantic Ocean, Eurasia, Mediterranian Sea, Southeast Asia and Scandinavia.
Why-Hitler invaded Poland from the west; two days later, France and Britain declared war on Germany, beginning World War II. On Sept 17, Soviet troops invaded Poland from the east. -

Who- Powers in the Eastern bloc. (soviet Union) and powers in the Western bloc. (United States).
What- A geopolitical tension after World War 2. Because they had different ideas of economics and government.
Where- United States, Soviet Union, Europe, Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, Greece, East Asia and South America.

Civil Rights Movement

Who- civil rights leaders such as A. Philip Randolph, Bayard Rustin and Martin Luther King Jr.
What- The civil rights movement was a very popular movement to secure for African Americans equal access to opportunities for the basic privileges and rights of U.S. citizenship.
Where- it started in Montgomery, Alabama.
Why- Because African American people were not treated equally among white people. -

Why- Because she did not think it was right to be segregated and wanted to sit in the front of the bus rather than the back in the "colored" section. -
