I guess this would count as physical development. -Physical Development Disclaimer: I won't be using any actual pictures as my life as I don' like having my picture taken. Instead everything will be images I found when googling the event name.

    I was a brat.
  • Enter Brooke

    Enter Brooke
Before my little sister was born I was the center of everyone's attention, including my own. My sister forced me into sharing some of it. Strangely enough I'd say that because I shifted attention from myself to my sister I became more self-aware. I would see her being bad and being good and it made me question what kind of person I want to be. I believe the reason I stopped being a brat was primarily because of Brooke. -Emotional Development
  • First Day of School (Kindergarten)

    First Day of School (Kindergarten)
All I remember from Kindergarten this one time when a friend of mine was playing a game with this other kid (who I didn't like) during playtime. Anyways I asked my friend if I could play with them and he said "No, it's only a two player game," and I just put my head down and walked away. It's one of my biggest regrets and it's stuck with with me my whole life. Overtime it shaped my personality, making me more assertive and a little more doubtful of people. -Psychological Development

  • First Day of REAL School

    First Day of REAL School
My first week of school was when I made my second friend ever. I remember going to that class and panicking because my only friend up until then was not in it and I was scared of talking to people I didn't know (as I'm sure many people are when they are 5 years old). I like to think I became a little more socially confident when I realized I could make 2 friends. From then on I gave people a chance before running away from them (so long as they were my age). -Social Development

  • Enrichment

    Enrichment
I was invited to attend an enrichment class every monday for (I think) all of elementary school. All the time I spent there I only remember one lesson as useful. We were given a sheet with 9 dots on it, arranged to form a square and were told to draw 4 connected lines that went over all the dots, without lifting the pencil. To do this you had to draw outside the square. From that point on I looked for solutions that were "outside of the square" . -Intellectual Development
  • First "Cool" Teacher

    First "Cool" Teacher
This guy was awesome. First day of class we had a paper-ball fight where we threw crumpled up pieces of paper at eachother that had our name and info on ourselves. If you got hit you had to read what was on the paper. He was a really sports and math oriented guy. He was my first non-parent role-model. He's the reason I started playing chess and why I try to keep active. -Intellectual/Cognitive and Physical Development
  • Moving Up

    Moving Up
My first day/week of middle school. The summer before I went through a growth spurt and now saw my friends from a birds-eye view. I started playing sports as my height gave me a tremendous advantage. I got to see what it was like to be a jock. Wasn't that great. -Physical Development

    Connor picks up a stalker
    Example of a Stalker
Sometime during grade 7 this kid I knew started following me. Out of the blue he began going everywhere I went and doing everything I did. I got a little creepy when he bought the exact same bike that I had. Sure it could have been a coincidence, but he also started locking it up next to mine. So I started avoiding him. I've felt guilty ever since, making me a want to keep everyone happy. -Psychological Dev.

  • Question Everything

    Question Everything
This was around the time I met this conspiracy theorist. This guy fascinated me because the way he saw the world seemed so much interesting than my perception. He taught me to question everything. I didn't fully understand the meaning of this. I thought I did, but it really hit home for me when he presented a conspiracy to me that I knew was not true. Only then did I begin to question him. It's one of my proudest moments in life, realizing that no one is infallable. -Psychological Dev.
