    The Three Body Problem
    King Oscar II offered a prize to anyone who could mathematically prove the stability of the orbiting bodies in the solar system. Poincare won, however before publishing his results he discovered that small & minute changes in the initial setup of the problem could result in much unpredictability.     Within science, Henri proposed that there was a sort of “hierarchy” of disciplines. Henri had to later clarify that he was not saying that one was “above” another, but that one had to be able to presuppose another in order to prove its validity.   • Prioism vs Empiricism

    Henri believed that though the result of an experiment shows the empirical proof, it also rests on the truth that it is the result of a repetition of proving the phenomenon.     In this writing, Poincare asserted the fact that mathematics required intuition, which was something that surpassed the classical iterations of logic. He stated that in math, intuition was needed to justify the complete induction principle.
