The boy who lived
Voldemort murders both of Harry's parents. After Voldemort kills Harry's mother who tried to protect him, Voldemort used the murder-spell on Harry. He survives and Voldemort disappears. Harry is known as "The boy who lived" and is now famous without knowing it. -
The Dursley's
Hagrid flies in with baby Harry in his arms on his motorcycle. Harry is now an orphan with no parents. Dumbledore thinks its better for him to grow up with his muggle aunt and uncle. He delivers Harry to the Dursley's. -
The vanishing glass
On Dudley's birthday they all go to the zoo. After having a conversation with a snake, Harry gets pushed aside by Dudley. He gets heated up, and suddenly the glass between him and the snake disappears. -
The first letter
Harry receives a letter addressed to him. He has never got a letter before and its addressed to the cupboard under the stairs. It causes panic and confusion among the Dursley's and the decide to move Harry upstairs, to his own room. Mr. Dursley burn the letter right in front of Harry before he got a chance to open it. -
"You're a wizard Harry"
Hagrid appears at the hut on the rocks where the Dursley's now live with the Hogwarts acceptance letter. He suprises the whole family by kicking down the door in the middel of the night. Harry learns that he is a wizard and gets upset at his aunt and uncle for knowing all along. He also learned what really happen to his parents, that they were murdered not killed in a car accident. -
"The wand chooses the wizard Mr. Potter"
Hagrid and Harry strolls through Diagon Alley, buying all the things Harry needs to school start. a wand is what Harry's missing, so hi goes in to Olivander's. Olivander is an old man who helps Harry picking out his wand. "The wand chooses the wizard Mr. Potter, it is curious that you should be destined for this wand when its brother gave you that scar". -
Platform 9 3/4
Harry is struggling to find platform 9 3/4. Here he meets the Weasley's who helps him get there. "You got to run run straight into the wall between platform 9 and 10" says Mrs. Weasley. Her son, Ron Weasley was to become Harry's best friend and roommate later on in the story. -
Sorting hat
Harry, Ron, Hermione and all the other freshman students are sorted into houses. All three of them are placed in Griffindor. -
Youngest seeker in the century
Harry breaks the rules by flying on a broomstick, catching Neville's ball who Draco took from him. Professor McGonagall notice Harry's quickness on the broomstick and makes him the Griffindor's seeker. The youngest seeker in the century. -
Troll!
During the Halloween feast, professor Quirell rushes through the great hall announcing that there's a troll loose in Hogwarts. Harry and Ron goes looking for Hermione who did't show up for dinner. They fin her at the bathroom with the troll. The three of them defeats it with their life to keep. -
A mysterious gift
Harry receives an anonymous gift on 1. christmas day. The gift contained an invisibility cloak who once belonged to his father. -
Detention
Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco serves detention with Hagrid in the forbidden forest. In the forest, Harry and Draco comes upon a dark hooded creature who sucks blood from an unicorn. Later they knew that the figure in the forest was Voldemort -
The Sorcerer's Stone
Harry, Ron and Hermione sets out to save the Sorcerer's stone from professor Snape. Once they pass all the obstacles and Harry is alone, he sees that it wasn't Snape who tried to steal the stone, it was Quirrell. -
A man with two faces
Harry gets the stone through the mirror of erised. He discovers that Quirrell's backhead has a face, Voldemort's face. When Quirrell tries to take the stone from Harry he burns up. Harry's skin was like poison to him and Harry defeats Quirrell and Voldemort. -
House cup winners
Slytherin is about to win the house cup when Dumbledore gives out some extrapoints in the last second. He gives Griffindor 170 points for Harry's, Ron's, Hermione's and Neville's bravery. With that, Griffindor wins the housecup.
