Harriet Tubman was black skinned and was born as a slave so their owner didn't keep their birth record. -

At the age of 25 she married a free man named John Tubman. John Tubman never thought she would be free and would stay as himself. John said that he would turn in Harriet Tubman if she ever tried to runaway. -
Escape to freedom
At night she escaped the plantation with her two brothers. Her brothers went back beacause they were scared of the risk they made so they went back. Harriet kept on following the North Star until she got to Pennsylvania. -
Underground Railroad
Harriet started lead the Underground Railroad. She was helping slaves from South to North. Over 500 slaves escaped beacause of her. -
Reunite her family
Harriet rescued her sister and her brothers. -

Harriet rescued her parents save and sound. So now the family was together. -
Harriet Fought
Harriet paired up with a man called John Brown who wanted to attack the armory and distribute weapons. -

Harriet began to care about the injured soliders at the Colored Hospital in Fortess Manroe ,Virginia. -

Harriet's breath became rough. She told the doctor if it was pneumonia a sickness as her voice fainted. The doctor told her yes with a nod. Harriet whispered to her friends around her "now a song". When they finish singing Harriet looked up into the sky as a North Star was shining when she closed her eyes for the last time.
