    many would use loans to live throw the great depression but at the end of the great depression the people who borrowed the loans had to pay the loans back to the bank. In the end, they still have no money to live and to provide for their family. A list of items there would buy with the loans would be chicken fell from 38 cents a pound to 12 cents, the price of eggs dropped from 50 cents a dozen to just over 13 cents and the price of gasoline fell from 10 cents a gallon to less than a nickel.​

    Needed food for Soldiers and Civilians

    The civilians during world war ii were not in good shape. Their health was bad because they were literally eating tulip bulbs. They had nothing. The civilians would also have to eat apple and lobster when the war was happening. The method of achieving to feed everyone was to keep the farmers on the land and to introduce rationing so that no one person would have more on his dinner plate than his neighbor or the soldier at the front.

But on the same morning as the attack on Pearl Harbor, forces of the Empire of Japan attacked the British crown colony of Hong Kong. This war happened December 8th 1941.
