    He wanted people to trust the government when he wanted to give them what they deserve and people wanted freedom. If the government didn’t agree, then people had the right to get what they wanted and deserve.

    Montesquieu didn’t agree when the idea of dividing the branches was putting them in power equally.

    In order to protect people from the government, Rousseau did a contract. He wanted everyone to be able to vote and share ideas for their property.

    Voltaire wanted to separate the state and government so that people get the chance to vote and say who they want to be the next leader.

    "In August of 1791 an organized slave rebellion broke out, marking the start of a twelve-year resistance to obtain human rights."
    Taking charge of another human being is wrong. Locke didn’t want anyone to be treated like that. Which gives him the reason why wanted to give everyone their freedom. Locke believes that everyone is born with their right to liberty.

    The government not wanting to protect their people, gave much hope for those who were finally becoming free.

    The branches not having the same power could not help with giving the people freedom and not treat them like slaves. They would have a choice now and be able to refuse anyone who tells them what to do.

    "A former slave, Toussaint Brenda helped slaves to attack the French troops because of the unfairness."
    By Brenda’s plan for the slaves to attack the French, it also proved that the French were not doing their job and they didn’t protect their people.
