    Guglielmo Marconi was born on the fourth of April, a Saturday morning, in Bologna, Italy to Giuseppe Marconi and his wife, Annie Jameson.     In the year 1899 Marconi decided he should put his hand into the business side of his science and founded the Marconi Telegraph Company.     On the 12th of December, 1901 Gugliel Marconi achieved the crowning moment of his career, the first ever transatlantic wireless signal.     In 1909 Gugliel Marconi received a Nobel Prize Laureate for his work in the field of Wireless telegraphy. This was not his only title, though. In Russia he was given the Order of St. Anne, in Italy he was bestowed Commander of the order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus and even the Grand Cross of the Order of the Crown, amongst others.     On the fateful sailing of the RMS Titanic there wasn't a thought of a potential thinking for the passengers. The crew on the other hand knew there might be complications, so they brought a Marconi telegraph on board. Without this device the Titanic would never have been able to call for help on the dark night.     In the year 1922, 20 years after the creation of the Marconi Magnetic Detector, science was finally able to explain how it worked.
