Once released they were very popular due to their compact size and versatility. It was easy to navigate and had a wide range of functions. Some were watching videos, reading e books, playing games and even editing documents. -

This progression in technology was big, taking a handheld gaming device and making it 3D for players and all their games. It also added a flat joystick versus only having a D pad from the previous model from 2004. -
Siri Release
Originally as an app in 2010 but integrated into the Apple iOS in 2011. This added a virtual assistant that performs actions through voice commands to get things done quickly. -
Xbox One Release
The Xbox One, not the first Xbox but the Xbox of the next generation. This is where the games started to get bigger and better. Such as better performance from better operating systems, as well as more internal storage space. -
Oculus Rift Release
Released as Virtual Reality Goggles, these allowed those who played video games to experience them in a whole new way. It fully immersed the player into the game that they were playing, making them feel like they were really there. Increasing the field of vision to ensure the player is submerged into the game.
