  • First Surgery

    Shortly before my second birthday doctors discover my left eye has no tear duct and surgery is performed. Doctors feared that because of the amount of pressure building in my eye would cause me to become blind.
  • Breaks Left Arm

    In preschool i break my left arm. My left arm is my dominate arm and because of this event i am forced to write and color with my non-dominate right hand. This is how i became ambidextrous.
  • Goes to San Francisco for the first time

    I travel to San Fran with mom and dad for state of california softball tournament, where dad is competing.
  • Rotavirus

    Contracts rotavirus and flown to San Diego Childrens Hospital.
  • Started Kindergarten

    I started kindergarten at Zion Lutheran School. My teachers name was Mrs. Bradley, and I loved attending her class! We did alot of crafts and we read a lot. The class size was extremely small with only 10 students, so the attention with the teacher was of high volumn. I also had Mrs. Bradley the following year for 1st grade.
  • Has Ms. Moore for second gradee

    I entered Ms. Moore's second grade class. This is one of the best classes of my life. She introduces a book to me which has just been published. The book quickly become my favorite, and remains so to this day: Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.
    This is also the year doctors discovered I needed glasses.
  • 9/11

    I was in the third grade when the bombing of the world trade center happened. Due to the time difference the school district was able to notify everyone that school would be canceled on that day. My mother called out of work and together we sat and home and watched the news and discussed the events. Even at 9 years old i could understand the ramifications of this event.
  • Pulled out of Public Education

    In the fourth grade I was supposed to have Mrs. Peyton, but she had to have back surgery so we were given a long term substitute named Mrs. Johnston. Principal change happened that year as well. Parents decide to pull me out of public education due to poor quality in small town.
  • Grandmother Passes Away

    When I was 11 my paternal grandmother passed away from cancer. This was incredibly tragic in my house hold due to the fact that she had lived with us for 5 years and was the primary souce of childcare.
  • God Daughter Born

    Veronica Eddy is born at Sharp Medical Center in San Diego. I am named God Mother.
  • Starts High School meets favorite math teacher

    I start Highschool at Parker High School after being homeschooled for 4 years.
    This is the same year I took algebra 1 and 2 with Mrs. Szczepaniak. She soon became my favorite teacher, and we still keep in contact to this day. Very supportive and communicated expectations crealy. Held everyone accountable and always had peanut butter and jellies in classroom.
  • Wins state championship in volleyball

    When I am a sophomore my high school volleyball team wins the 3A state championships in Peoria, Arizona.
  • Gets engaged to be married

    After dating long time boyfriend, we become engaged with parents permission. WIth stipulations of graduating highschool and attending community college on volleyball scholarship.
  • Break up

    After being engaged for almost a year a seperation occurs less then 5 weeks from wedding.
  • Graduated Highschool

    graduated from parker high with a 4.0 and honors.
  • Started at Phoenix College

  • Family Friend passes away

    Good friend of the family dies of a rare heart disease. I go to Hawaii for the third time to be with his family.
  • Transfer to ASU

    Begin my first semester at ASU as a Junior studying early childhood education with dual cert in Special Education.
  • Tragedy

    Best friend murdered to death.
  • Begins block 6 at ASU

    During my block 6 at Mary Lou Folton I had a great math methods teacher named Photini Spanias. She not only tought me how to teach math, but clarified basic concepts that i struggled with in college. She also taught me key ideas for becomming a teacher in diverse classroom.
