After they did the first sit in it was on TV and hundreds of people joined in on the action. -
Who joined in?
Students,churches,civil rights organisations,and members of the town were in the movement. -
The effects
After people protested by doing sit-ins people were arrested and put in jail's or fight's broke out when they wouldn't get up. -
Then what?
To get there point more out there they sat at more place's. -
The Ending of the movement
After protesting for about six months the people there rights that they wanted for example black people were able to work at diners and black people had the rights to sit and eat wherever they wanted to.
