Pope Gregory XI dies while on a visitation to Rome, Pope Urban VI becomes Pope due to crowds wanting an Italian as Pope. Cardinals regret the decision almost immediatly and elect a second pope, pope Geneva (Clement VII). both popes declare other as false. -
