Grandad went to school in England. He enjoyed school and in 1942 he went to Flying School.

During my Grandad's first flight he felt excitement and slight fear incase he couldn'd do it well.
His position was Captain, then Training Captain then Fleet Manager and finaly Chief Pilot. -
My grandads training instructor was calm and cool and very helpful.

My grandad flew a lancaster bomber as a training plane.The lancaster bomber is a big old 4 engined 4 propeler (big fans) plane. After that he set to fly the plane in the war ,but the war was over.

My grandad was in the RAF (Royal Air Force) in England since 1945. He was trained to fight in world war 2 as a pilot.

Grandad trained people in India to become parachutists. He was a role model and he had to jump out of a plane and also jumped off of a 100 ft hanger.

My grandad was a pilot for British Airways for 7 years.

Grandad was 27 years old when he got his first car and in those days it was difficult to get cars. Besides he was flying in many contries and was based in Canada, India and Egypt.

My grandad was 30 years old when he first got married. He got divorced when he was 37

My grandad was also a pilot for Kuwait Airways. He worked with them for 20 years.
