23 States from America decided they want to succeed and form their own nation because their voices weren't being heard or respected. -
Refusing Sucession
The U.S. Government refused to acknowledge the secession the 23 states and begins a negotiation with the former representatives of each state. -
Possible Resolution
Months later, the 23 representatives had come to a conclusion that if the government allows the individuals have more rights and more say in their government they will agree not to succeed. The U.S. government agreed and decided to switch forms of government from representative democracy to direct democracy. (Yay! Problems resolved with no war) -

The Conference of Buffalo
Representatives from all 50 states discuss what aspects of the government are going to change because switch of democracy. They decide they wanted to continue using the Constitution and Bill of Rights but remove or ignore parts of the documents that don't correlate with a direct democracy. Then they discuss how the following issues were going to be dealt with: Taxes, voting, elections, nominations, etc.They decided on options for each aspect and went back to their states to have the people vote. -
Tallies from Elections Are Decided
The major out come from the voting was that the people decided they wanted to have an election where every person has the right to vote (as long as they meet the pervious requirements) and is encouraged to. There will be no tampering or altering of vote numbers once they are submitted.
