During his 8 years of presidency he was a great president but sadly in his first year a devastating terrorist attack took down the twin towers. But otherwise he created the No child Left Behind Act, which gave more money to k-12.

    On 9, 11, 2001 the most horrific terrorist attack in US history, took down the Twin Towers with 2 hijacked planes. Thousands of lives were killed from the plane crashing and the buildings falling. All surrounding states and cities joined together to help in this devastating events disregarding race, religion, and income.

    I switched from my preschool KI to a private school, Meadowbrook. I switched schools because I was eager to learn.

    I switched schools from 1st grade at Meadowbrook to Rydal Elementary starting off 2nd grade. The school was too small for me so i switched to a bigger school, I needed more socialization.

    Obama was sworn into presidency in 2009. he used 2 bibles to sworn into. The first the Bible used by former President Abraham Lincoln, when he took the oath of office for the first of his two terms in 1861. The second Bible is the "traveling Bible" used by civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. This impacted America greatly being the first black President in US history.

    After the 9/11 bombings America went into a crisis. The CIA spent 10 years trying to find Bin Laden. they used drones, soldiers and spies to track him down. After finally finding out were Osama was Seal team 6 was sent to sneak in and kill Bin Laden. At 2 am Seal team 6 successfully killed Bin Laden. Finally the threat of Bin laden was gone., America has not forgotten the terror network he created.

  • I tried Ice Hockey

    I was not a very good skater, so Ice hockey was not great for me. But one day my dad made a bet saying that if I score a goal i can get a phone. But too make this worse we were playing the best team, The Junior Flyers. They were lightning fast and great players. In the 3rd period we are down 1-0. I get into the game and I stand next to the goal and wait for the puck. Our defender hits a slap shot at the goalie it hits his pad and i'm there to knock it past the goalie ! I got a phone!

  • Switching schools...... again?

    This time it wasn't cause of the school, it was because from 6th grade at Rydal we move onto 7th grade at Abington Junior High School. Now we can meet kids from all different school. An entirely new experience.

    This was a big step in my life cause I have lived in the same house my entire life. But i was ready to try new things and make new friends.

    A new era begins, Braces. Most have to get them and others wish to have them. Most cry and hate them,but me not so much. I didn't mind my braces they just hurt a lot and got in the way of my favorite thing, eating.

    The supreme curt ruled 5-4 in Obergefell v Hodges because they thought it was unconstitutional. The court fully legalized marriage but some sttes refused to allow it. For example,Pike County, Alabama isn’t issuing marriage licenses to anyone. Now marriage is just marriage.

    On December 2, 2015, 14 people were killed and 22 were seriously injured in a terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California. The perpetrators, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, a married couple living in the city of Redlands, targeted a County Department of Public Health Christmas party, of about 80 employees. Farook was a U.S. citizen of Pakistani descent, who worked as a health department employee. Malik was a Pakistani born citizen of the US.
