    Leta Hollingworth opens the Speyer School at P.S. 500 for students ages 7-9 with IQ's between 130 and 200. This school was experimental and was actually a study of students who floundered in traditional school. There was also a group of students with IQ's between 75-90 that were studied as part of this effort.
