Planning Phase
The administration team will meet with the department leads and teaching coaches to introduce the concept of personalized learning. In this meeting all parties will discuss how personalized learning can be utilized within their department.
Personalized Learning -
Department Meeting
Administrators and department leads introduce the concepts of personalized learning to each department. The introduction will be in small groups. The concepts of using e-books, analytic, videos, and data to have students learn at their own pace will be discussed. -
Staff Orientation
Introduce the entire staff to the concepts and ideas of personalized learning to the entire staff. This meeting will bring all groups together and discuss ideas of how to implement throughout the school for the 2019-2020 school year. -
Data Review - Entire Staff
The entire staff will look at the previous years data from the California Dashboard and discuss areas of improvement and how using personalized learning can be utilized at GHHS.

Department Planning
Departments will discuss how they implement personalized learning in their department. They will be asked to create a pacing guide for at least the first quarter of the 2019-2020. -
Technology Meeting
An important aspect of personalized learning is the use of technology. Admin and department leads will discuss the technology needs to assist students with their personalized learning. They will get quotes and pricing from various companies that have e-books and analytic software.

Departments will discuss how they implement personalized learning in their department. They will be asked to create a pacing guide for the 1st Semester of the 2019-2020. -
School Site Meeting
The administration staff will present Personalized Learning to the school stakeholders. This includes community members, parents, students, teachers, and staff. In this meeting the administration staff will discuss the benefits, needs, technology, and implementation. This meeting is critical to get all stakeholders on the same page and to have "buy-in" of the concept. -
Title 1 - Meeting
Administration will propose pricing and needs to rollout personalized learning at the Title 1 Meeting. The funds for the program will be used out Title 1 funds and will have to agreed upon by the members of the School Site Council. -
School Board Approval
GHHS will present Personalized Learning to the School Board at their monthly meeting for approval. The principal will discuss to the entire school district how GHHS will implement Personalized Learning within the school. He will also discuss the need and benefits to the students at GHHS. During this meeting the 1st semester pacing guides will be presented to the board to show how it will be used within the classroom. -
Purchases
GHHS will purchase the software they will use for Personalized Learning. -
Administrations Planning for 2019-2020
The first meeting of the year for the administrations for the 19-20 school year will discuss what has been planned over the past few months. They will discuss which departments they each over see and how often they will observe each teacher to see the success. They will plan out three data check meetings for the entire staff to see the success of Personalized Learning. -
Staff Training
The first day back to school will be an entire staff training. This will be lead by the department leads. During the meeting the staff will learn how to use the technology that was purchased by the school. There will be plenty of time for Q & A at this meeting. -
Staff Check Meeting
The GHHS will discuss how Personalized Learning is working within the classroom. This will be a chance for the staff to look at the data from the first quarter of the school year. The staff will be encouraged to speak about the Pros and Cons, as well as any areas that need to be addressed. -
Staff Development - 2nd Semester
Departments will discuss how they implement personalized learning in their department. They will be asked to create a pacing guide for the second semester of the 2019-2020. -
Data Review - Entire Staff
The entire staff will look at data from the 1st semester. The staff wil determine areas of improvement and how using personalized learning has impacted learning at GHHS.
