The Imperial Proclamation
German princes and the free cities called for King Wilhelm to assume the crown of Emperor. The arrangements made that were made to enable King Wilhelm to accept the title are conscious of the duty of protecting, with german loyaty, the rights of the empire and of it's members, of keeping peace, and of protecting the independence of Germany. Two dutied Wilhelm accepted was to answer the summond of the united German princes and cites and to accept the German imperia title.
