Constitutional Convection
The Constitutional Convection was a time where delegates like James Madison and Alexander Hamilton wanted to make a new government instead of fixing the existing one. George Washington was elected to preside over the convention by the delegates. There were only 55 delegates that were sent to the convention. -
Georgia Ratifies Constitution
George Washington had the authority to change the Articles of Confederation, but he did more than that. Instead the 55 delegates produced a new system of governing. The delegates voted unanimously to ratify the new U.S Constitution. -
