Temujin and family abandoned
Before the age of 10 his father was poisned and dies. Temujins fathers clan leaves as they no longer want to protect and serve a young boy. So Temujin and his family now lived in poverty. -

Temujin kills half-brother
Temujin kills his older half-brother who tried to take control of the household. Temujin and his brother went on a hunting trip where the older half-brother took all temujins trophy kills for himself. So, this is what sparked temujins reputation as a great warrior. -

Temujin captured
Temujin was captured by his fathers old clan Tayichi'ud. He was enslaved but was able to make an escape with the help of the guards. Who then later joined forces with Temujin and became his generals. At this point this is when Temujins reputation became widespread with the escape of the prison. -

Temujin gets married and then has to rescue her
Temujin married his wife Börte of Orggirat tribe at age 16 in order to cement allainces between respective tribes. Soon after the marriage, Börte was kidnapped by merkits and given away as a new wife. But with the help of several supporters he goes and rescuses her. -

Temujin changes his name to Genghis Khan of Mongolian Empire
Temujin is named Genghis Khan, the ruler of the Turko-Monogol people. He builds an army that becomes one of the strongest in the world. -

Genghis Khan begins his first war
In first war outside of Mongol borders, Khan leads his army to the kingdom of Xi Xia in China. Despite difficulties in capturing its well defended cities, Khan was able to force the emporer of Xi Xia to become a vassal status. -

Wanting to get revenge for the actions of Muhammad, Genghis's army storms through central Asia. He attacks and forces his way through the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara -

Genghis Khan begins his final war/ orders destruction of Xi Xia
As punishment for disobedience, Genghis leads his army to Xi Xia. His army diverts a canal and water threatens to flood the city of Ningxia, forcing the troops to surrender. Khan orders his army to remove any trace of Xi Xia. The troops completely destroy entire towns and villages. Residents are either killed or taken as slaves. -

Death of Genghis Khan
The reason of Genghis khan's death is unknown to this day. Some beleive injuries from a prevous years hunt got to him. He fell off his horse and never healed right. Others believe he died of respiratory failure.
