Under Genghis Khan, the Mongol army conquers all of the Jurchens of the Jurched Dynasty, a dynasty ruling in northern China. The Jurchens numbered at 50 million people, while Khan’s army consisted of 1,000 troops. -

The Mongolian Empire spreads even further
Many distant tribes began to submit to Khan’s rule, and by 1219, the Mongolian Empire stretches from northern China to the border of Afghanistan, and from Siberia to Tibet’s border. -
