School Planning
Three areas were identified for the 2014 school plan:
*Literacy
*Numeracy
*Adaptive Learning -
School and Community consultation
Staff, students and parents were consulted about the directions for the school plan. -
Introduction to Marvin Marshall
Staff were asked to plot their stduents and classes on the 'steps' -
Continued professional learning
Staff identifed key markers for each of the Marvin Marshall steps in five key areas: Self Management
Teamwork
Cooperation
Communication
Sense of Responsibility -
Discussion with High Performace Unit
Marvin Marshall steps correlated with ACARA General Capabilities. Slight changes to come of the terms (e.g. Anarchy may be recognised as Anxiety) -
Staff assess their 2015 classes
Staff use the ACARA General Capabilities to rate the competencies of their stduents. Results to be used in effectively differentiating for classes and/or individual students. Program registration to reflect this.
