Gen Z technology

  • Gen Z

After researching about each generation, I am in the Gen Z era. I was born in 2003, so by the age of 10 I was practically a technology genius.
  • The Wii

    The Wii
2007: I have two older siblings, one born in 1998 and one in 2001. It was Christmas morning,I was three and we all had gotten a present from “Santa” for all three of us. As we opened the present with excitement a brand new box appeared. It was the Nintendo Wii every kid wanted. It had just come out a year and one month (November 19,2006) before we got it.
  • The BlackBerry

    The BlackBerry
2010: On September 23, 2010 it was my 7th birthday and all I wanted was a phone just like my dad. No surprise that’s what they got me! One of the BlackBerry Curve Series. It was the one that had a slide out keyboard and the only game that I had on it was Tetris.
  • The Nintendo 3Ds

    The Nintendo 3Ds
2012: After having the wii for years I wanted something more portable. I knew what the Nintendo Ds was but just had never gotten one. Nintendo came out with the new Ds that had a 3D affect. I had the blue one and the 3D affect was cool but I do remember it messing with my eyes while playing Mario kart so I stopped using it after a few months.
  • Beats By Dre

    Beats By Dre
2016: When I was going into 8th grade I wanted to play football so during the summer I got a pair of Beats by Dre. The ultimate headphones you could get at the time, specifically the studio kind. I wanted to start going to the gym and building my body up so using the headphones for music really helped me focus.
  • AirPods!

    AirPods!
2018: Apple came out with their AirPods in early November. The concept was genius the production was not. I would always loose them and never be able to find one or the other. My case had chips in it and slightly the sound started to fade off.
  • The MacBook

    The MacBook
2022: After all these years I finally got my first laptop. It was a Apple Mac Book my sister gave me her old one since she got a new one. I use it to do all my college work as well as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and etc. I don’t think I could live without technology and this could be one of the greatest gift my generation has ever had.
