The Oculus was originally invented by Oculus VR and its development was originally funded through a Kickstarter campaign.

    The Amazon Echo was the first smart speaker of its type with the integration of the voice-activated assistant which was mainly on phones up till then made it unique. The ability to simply ask your echo to play music from your library, as well as search for things such as the forecast, temperature, the 176th digit of pi, and everything in between, brought about an era of integration of tech into the household with the echo in control of it all.     The HTC Vive was a large step in the progression of VR headsets. While Oculus had opened the door to commercial VR headsets which allowed the user to see into the virtual world, the HTC Vive Pushed the envelope when it introduced motion tracking and motion controllers. This allowed the user to not only see into the virtual world but move and interact with it. This set the stage for the modern VR systems which are now widely used.     The Nintendo switch redefined the way in which game consoles are thought about. Before the switch, the conception was that a console were these heavy, non-portable systems that needed a TV to display on, but the switch flipped this on its head. While still being able to display to tv you had the option to disconnect the system from its dock and use the screen on the console to play the same games on the go without loss of performance. The Switch was created by Nintendo.
