The HTC Vive
The HTC Vive was a large step in the progression of VR headsets. While Oculus had opened the door to commercial VR headsets which allowed the user to see into the virtual world, the HTC Vive Pushed the envelope when it introduced motion tracking and motion controllers. The Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo switch redefined the way in which game consoles are thought about. Before the switch, the conception was that a console were these heavy, non-portable systems that needed a TV to display on, but the switch flipped this on its head. While still being able to display to tv you had the option to disconnect the system from its dock and use the screen on the console to play the same games on the go without loss of performance.
