    This article goes into great depth about how a gap year actually work and why it is beneficial. There are great examples of structured and unstructured gap year activites all throughout this article. The author does a great job of explaining how each one is beneficial opposed to how it can be detrimental to a student. This article shares very similar viewpoints to my future articles from 2013 and 2015.

    Compared to my earlier articles, this article does the best job of explaining how and why gap years are becoming such a popular trend in this day and age. The article focuses on the globalization of humanity that stems from the advancement of technology. It focuses on how globally aware people have become. The rest of this article is very similar to the two articles from 2000-2010 and the article from 2015.

    This article does a great job of tying together all the benefits that my other articles introduce and discuss. It talks about all the challenges and decisions that students have to go through between graduating highschool and starting college. The article does an excellent job of explaining how the break from school allows a student to relax and think about the life changing decisions they are about to make. All in all, this article does a great job of combining all my other article's points.
