When Gandhi didn't get off the train he was thrown off. He later relized since he had been gone for so long that everything had changed. His people were being treated unfarly, so he wasn't going to stand by, and let that happen. That was how he got all his ideas to set people free. -
Gandhi's first exsperience of racial segregation
When Gandhi was going home to South Africa he bought a first class ticket, but the first class was for white people only. People told him to leave he wouldn't, so they threw him off. This started the nonviolent fight for racial segregation. (The people head lead didn't fight, but the British did.) -
Boer War
Gandhi made people become British Ambulance Corps. This was a group that took people that were hurt off the fighting feild in the war. Gandhi wanted to stay loyal to the British, so this is what he did. -

In 1907 when Gandhi first started disobeying British laws that have been past 1,000's of Indians were improsioned, killed, or warmed to stop. Gandhi was so angry because the law that had been passed they wanted to strip women bare, and take pitures of them to identify them. This started a major fight. over the corse of eight years. -
Sailed To England
Gandhi sailed to England to represent India's case to the Coloial Secretry. He started in Sept. and went back to South Africa in Dec. -
The Great March
Gandhi lead over 2,000 people from Charelstown to Volkrust. He was arrested in the middle of the walk for leading this, but the other people walked the whole way. -
How long Gandhi was fighting
Ghandi arived in South Africa in the 1914 century. He spent 21 years in South Africa fighting in a non violent war for racial laws. -

The India people gathered in a garden, but didn't know that that week the British people passed a law saying the India people wern't aloud to gather in big masses, so the British open fired on them. A lot of people died an were injured -

Gandhi lead a compan stateing that if the british were going to mistreat them they would stop buy things form them. India's population was very large, so that would affect the British's money ammounts. They wern't aloud to make anything themselfs, but Gandhi made his own salt, and got arrested. He spent 1922-1924 in prison. -

Gandhi would go all around India trying to help people, and tell them what to do to stop the British. He started doing this more when India's problem became more popular an well known. -

Gandhi had a group that he was working an helping. The group started to have bad behavior, so Gandhi fasted to show he wouldn't talerat this, and he didn't want to give the British any ideas that they could use against India's people, and harm them. -

Gandhi would do a fast if he didn't want to do something to harm someone. While he was in prison the British told him to help them stop the Inia campiagn against them, so he started fasting until they would stop trying to get things out of them like information. -

Gandhi went on fasting. Fasting was when he wouldn't eat until something was right. So they thought "if God didn't want them to live then they would die." He did this at different times. On lasted 12 days it ended on January 30, 1948. -
