Years of the Sun
In Tolkiens Legendarium, time is divided into three main parts: the Years of the Lamps, the Years of the Trees and the Years of the Sun. In this particular time we won't be refering to the first two ones because they are the equivalent of the Genesis for the christians and the world we see in the films was very distant from the world in those times. The years of the Sun are divided into four eras, from which we are interested in the third one. -
