MiniMerit Summer Institute
Train 35 teachers from grade levels k-12 on how to integrate technology into their lessons such that students are using the technology to solve problems. -
Fellowship Program
Build site technology leadership by training 15-20 hand selected teachers to become fellows at their sites. The fellows will work weekly with an assigned Tech TOSA and attend 2-4 additional miniMerit sessions with the Krause Center. The selected fellows will mentor an additional fellow in the spring semester. -
Chromebooks
Students are using Chromebooks in the classroom to interact with the teacher in Google Classroom. -

in the year 2020, four years from now, row seating will not be seen in classrooms. -
Professional Development
Professional Development planning will see more individualized online learning and/or more badging or certifications being earned. -
Parents will be more involved with students learning
Parents will have real time interactivity with their child's classroom as more teachers learn how to use online tools to allow access to parents. The classroom becomes more public via technology tools. -
Classroom furniture begins to change.
We will begin to see a change in the way classrooms are arranged. As desks need to be replaced they will be replaced with furniture that supports collaboration.
