There's Strong then There's Benton JROTC Strong...
This was important moment to me because this has taken up most of my time.The program has gotten me involved in Raiders, MP missions, Drill teams, was one of only 2 freshman that made staff, Saber guard, Color guards, going to JCLC and many community service projects. -

The Best Instructor at Benton High School...
MSGT is the best instructor at BHS because he cares about his students! He cares about our program as well as the kids. Without him we wouldn't have such an amazing program. Also, he has helped me get through high school so far! Thank you MSGT Rivera, we love you!! -
First MP Mission..
My first MP mission was so fun because it was fun and exciting and this was a time to remember because without it I wouldn't have done anymore MP missions because of what people told me about them. -
Train your Dragon!
This was a important time to me because it was my first homecoming. I had lots of fun and memories from that night. Homecoming week was crazy as well. -
1st & 2nd Baby!
This was my second time competing here locally. I got 1st in my Freeskate with me skating to "She's Country" by Jason Aldean. I had placed 2nd in compulseries. This was a important event because not only did I place 1st and 2nd but It was my last competion for more then likely forever. -

FFA is an orgination that helps kids through class work and outside class work! You can join FFA by taking AG classes at Hillyards. -
If I was in Charge of the World I Would....
We learned how to prove our point through many diffterent writing projects. We did a compare and contrast of how the world was now and how it would be if we were in charge. We said we would create peace not hate! -
5 Dfferent Kids, 5 Different Dreams, 5 Different lives.....Same Out Come
Five teenagers from different parts of the country. Three girls. Two guys. Four straight. One gay. Some rich. Some poor. Some from great families. Some with no one at all. All living their lives as best they can, but all searching . . . for freedom, safety, community, family, love. This is by far my favorite book because of how it's written and it tells the truth about a real issue. -
Beauty is Truth...
We learned beauty is truth. We learned this by writing a paper on MyAccess. I learned that the truth is beautiful. -
Military Ball
Military Ball was all the JROTC cadets from all 3 battlions to come together and celebrate. This was a important part of freshman year because we had fun and alot of memories like riding in the limo and things like that. -
Christmas 2010
Christmas 2010 was amazing not only did I get alot of presents but it was also a time to be with my family. The best present I recieved was 8 Seconds the movie. -
Forrest and Jenny <3
I titled this Forrest and Jenny off my boyfriend (Jake Smith) and I's favorite movie. This was an important event in Freshman year because he's a great guy. -
Raiders Lead the Way!
Raiders is like saying your a ranger in the Army. Raiders is not only a physically challenging activity but also one the consit of mental challenging events. We get up at 3 am or 4 am and we are exercising by 5 am. We go on runs, do total muscle failure, knots and learn how make a plan for what ever event is thrown at us at raider challenge. (Raider Challege where we go to compete. I have gone to Sedlia, MO and competed. My team has gone to Rosecrans and Levenworth, KS. -
Thumber ;)
I got my pet rabbit Thumber and my chickens and it was awesome because I had them when I was little. It was important memorie because it teaches me responsibility. -
Raising Money to Find a Cure....
I sold F*ck Cancer bracelets to help raise funds to help the Light the Night walk find a cure for Lukemia and Lymomia Society. I chose this society because I had lukemia when I was 2 years old. This was a important moment in my freshman year because I organized this fundraiser and like many others I've done turned out like a success. I was most proud of this one because I didn't have support in helping it become a success. I have raised over $390 so far. -
Wilder Then Any 8 Second RIde
I went to NFPB Rodeo and it was the best thing ever. This was important becaue it was the funnest 2 nights of my life!! -
A Huge Project????
From doing the WWI Story I have learned that siting sources are a great way to cut research time in half. I also learned to not second guess myself as a writer and Mrs. Miller taught me how to do footnotes as well. -
Take the Road Less Traveled....
This is my truh because I chose to be myself and not anyone else. My friends choose fashion and fab, where as I choose Woods and JROTC. This was a big part of Freshman year because alot of people tried to be like everyone else but not me, I stayed true to myself. -
My 15th Birthday!
My 15th birthday was good!! No bonfire like i wanted because I got in trouble. I did get a truck and a rifle so i turned out ok.
