The convention ordered a new army. Of people between 18 and 40 year old. It was an army of 300,00o people. Reign of terror starts one year later -
Bad day for Robespierre
Members of the national convention turned against robespierre. They wanted his arrest and the Reing of Terror ended in July 28, 1794. The Reign of Terror killed about 30,000 persons. -
New government
Moderate leaders in the national convention drafted a new plan of government.
