    King Louis XVI calls the 3 estates together for the first time in a long while. The Clergy, Noblemen, and the rest of the people inluding peasants, etc.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    Third estate forms national assembly, and they are locked out of meeting room. Break down door to indoor tennis court, and swear to the court not to leave until they have a new constitution.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Angry revolutionaries looking for gunpowder storm the bastille, a prison. They took control of the building, and marched around with the guard's heads to make a statement to the monarchy.
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man

    States that all men are equal. Women and children not affected
  • Great Fear

    There was riot over food, and many other things.

    Protest on price and bread led by parsian woman
  • Royal family attempts to flee

    King Louis XVI and his family attempt to flee from France but are caught
  • Execution of King Louis XVI

    After being put on trial, he was publicly executed.

    Reign of Terror

    Thousands of people sentenced to death. Caused by conflict between Jacobins and Girondins.
  • Execution of Robespierre

    Maximilien Robespierre, the leader of the jacobins, is executed. The Jacobins lose all of their power, and die with him.
