The third estate gathered in an indor tennis court to discuss about a new French constitution. They would not leave until their voices were heard and thier requirements were met. The people involved were Robespierre, Mirabeau, Sieyes, and the third estate. This event was important because it showed the king that people were conserened about these issues and it threatened to destroy his power as king. -

Storming of the Bastille
Many people of the third estate rushed in the Bastille, killing many soldiers, to get gun powder and the cannons. The people involed in this were mainly agressive mobs of the third estate. This showed that they have more power then the king's men did and it showed how it was the end of ancien regime. -
Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen
It was a statement of revolutionary ideals adopted by the national assembly. Mainly stated that men are born and remain free and equal. People involved were Robespierre and Marquis de Lafayette. This document was important because it basically established that everyone is equal; no two men have different rights. -
Execution of King Louis XVI
King Louis was arrested and was then sentenced to death by the guillotine for treason.The person involved in this was King Louis XVI. This event was important because if officially ends King Louis XVI's power, not that he had any power left after he was taken to Paris anyways. -
The Reign of Terror
It was an emergency form of government to scare people straight; and it was affective. Many people died during this period as well. The main person involved in this was Robespierre, who was the main cause of this. This event was importance because it was the beginning of people seeing how their form of government was being corrupted by Robespierre. -
Festival of the Supreme Being
It was a type of republican holiday put together by none other than Maximilien Robespierre. It was a comemorative event held every other tenth day. The main person in this event is Robespierre. This event is important because it shows that if Robespierre wasn't crazy enought with the reign of terror, this event would tip the scale. Making a new religion along with a holidy is crazy, and more and more people started to catch onto this. -
The execution of Maximilien Robespierre
On July 27, 1794 Maximilien Robespierre was sentenced to death by guillotine. Prior to this, Robespierre tried to commit suicide, but failed. He was arrested and sentenced to death. The main person in this event is obviously Robespierre. This event is important because is signified the end of the Reign of Terror.
