Fall of Bastille
On July 14, 1789 a crowd of several thousand people laid siege to the Bastille, a royal building on the eastern side of Paris. The Bastille served as a royal armoury and a prison. The Fall of Bastille increased mob activity in Paris which resulted in the formation of a permanent committee to keep order. -

The womens march was an event of nearly 7,000 peasant Women on a march to Versailles demanding bread for their starving families, carrying pitch forks and other harmful weapons to attack anybody in their way. -

The execution of Louis XVI took place at the Place de la Revolution by the guillotine due to being convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers. It was a huge event in the French Revolution. -

The Reign of Terror was a time of violence bloodshed. The period of the Terror after the onset of the French Revolution. During the Reign of Terror the Committee of Public Safety excersized virtual control over the government. -
Execution of the Robespierre
Maximilien Robespierre, a French Revolutionary leader was arrested by the National Cnvention. Maximilien encouraged more than 17,000 deaths by the guillotine. He was then executed in the Coup D'etat of Thermidor. -

Directory was a body of five directors that held executive power in France following the Convention and preceding the Consulate. When the directory established, the Revolution seemed to close.
