  • The First estates General meeting

    On this day The First-Estates GEneral meeting took place so that noblemen started getting taxed

  • National Assembly established

    To end the abslute monarchy 3rd estate established the National Assembly to begin with a representative government

  • Fall of Bastille

    This day a mob atacked Bastille prison while looking for gunpowder and weapons (guns) this date is to the french is what the 4th of july is to americans.

  • Declaration of rights of a man approved

    The declaration of rights of a man got approved by the National Assembly. this law stated that all men are free and equal.

  • Bread Riots

    Women from paris rioted against King Louis XVI and marie antoinette. Parisans wanted the bread prices to go down, to achieve this they fought with axes, knives and spears.

  • Establishment of the legislative Assembly

    The Legislative Assembly was created and they weren't ruled by a monarch anymore.

  • Government changes

    Governmet changes in Franc, members of the radical political organizantion were involved. The National Convention took charge and they created a new constitution.

  • New constitution

    National Assembly completed the new constitution and Louis XVI declined it.

    Prussian forces were advancing in paris, Prussian Commander threatened to destroy Paris if the revolutionaries harmed any members of the royal family
