Thousands of women from Paris marched the 12 miles to Versailles. King Louis XVI were forced to sign the D.R.M. and were taken to Paris. -

King Louis XVI and his family using the cover of darkness, tried to get to Austria in the royal carriage. They made it to the Austrian border where they were spotted and captured. -

The french people believed that they could not have a sane government if the king was still alive. He might also try to escape like he tried once. -

The French government was killing all opposers to the revolution. Maximillien Robespierre getting killed ends the reign of terror. -
Marie Antoinette's Death
She was shortly tried. She was charged with treason. -
Maximillien Robespierre's Death
This ended the Reign of Terror. He failed at killing himself and was made fun of until he was sent to the guillotine. -
Napoleon Bonaparte Overthrows French government
During the revolution, Napoleon rose through the military ranks. Considered one of the greatest generals in history. -
War Won
If this war was lost the French revolution was over. It was finaly won by Napoleon Bonaparte. -
Results of the French Revolution

-The church lost most of its power.

Napoleon Bonaparte Ends Rule
He was overthrown once. Then tried to take it back over and failed.
