The King would only tax the 3rd Estate, which would be considered poor peasants. He gave special priviliges to the 1st and 2nd estate, the rich ones, who didnt have to pay taxes. Credit sourse - My notes

The national assembly had to meet at a tennis court by Versailles due to King Louis locking the doors to their meeting place. They made an oath swearing to meet until the DRM was complete. -My notes

French people decided to storm the "jail" of Bastille where they could get their gun powder supply. This meant that they slaughtered all of the guards at bastille in order to get what they needed. This was the start of the French Revolution. -My notes

The King decides to gather up his family and escape to Austria after being on house arrest for 2 years. The trip was unsuccessful and the King was caught and sent to jail.

The reign of terror was the era in which Maximillion Robspierre decided to go crazy and behead or murder anyone who was against the revolution. Everyday, Robspierre had a list of several people who would be beheaded that day. More than 40,00 people were beheaded and the reign of terror finally ended with Robspierre being beheaded. -My Notes
