Meeting of the Estates General
The Estates General stemmed from a meeting that reunited an equal number of representatives, from each Estate to solve this serious political crisis. To debate some major problems, everyone met at the Palace of Versailles. -

During the French Revlotution, The estates general had been called to try to solve the France's financial crisis, The members had been elected to represent the estates of the realm: the first estate was the clergy then the nobles wich is the second and last the third one represented all of the commoners and, in practice, represented the bourgeoisie. -
Storming of the Bastille
In the Bastille a prison in Paris, an aggressive group attacked the Bastille prison and tried to steal the dictatorship that they had. The legislative assembly complitly failed, It consisted of 745 members, few were nobles, very few were clergymen, and the great body came from the middle class. The new assembly had young members that had never been involved in the previous assembly and they didn't have any political experience. -

There were many different ideas between the people in France, there were some people that wanted the war and there were others tht didn'd, reactionaries and the monarchy wanted war because they thought that the new government would be easily defeated by foreign powers. The battle of Valmy was one of the first Republic's first victories. -
Abolished the monarchy
The French Revolution acomplished that the Legislative Assembly votes to abolish the monarchy and establish the First Republic. Louis asended to the French throne of France, finding with finantial problems, ecom¡nomic crisi, food shortages led to the outbreak of the French Revolution.
