The palacec where the royal family was staying was invaded by 20,000 men. The mob massacred the royal guards, and imprisoned the King, Queen, and their children. -
King Louis XVI Killed
Louis was found guilty for treason and was then beheaded by the guillotine. -
End of Reign of Terror
Robespierre was demanded to be arrested and executed, thus ending the Reign of Terror.
