the bread march
thousands of woman marched from Paris to Versailles. they were armed with broom sticks and other sharp objects.the woman broke open the gates and be_headed the gaurds. then the queen and king were captured and forced to sign the d.r.m! all the food along with the royal was taken back to paris. that was last time the king would see versailles. i got this in my notes -
