    Call of the Estate Generals
    King Louis XVI called a meeting of the Estates General. It was the first meeting since 1614. They were called because the Gov't was having financial problems.

    After being locked out of the Estates meeting pace the Estates moved to a tennis court. There they vowed "not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require,until the constitution of the kingdom is established.

    Storming of the Bastille
    A state prison on the east side of Paris was attacked by an angry and aggressive mod. The mob attained weapons and gunpowder that were kept in the prison. The prison became a symbol of monarchy's dictatorial rule.

    States that all man are equal under law. Women and children were not affected by this document. Declaration was drafted by Abbe Sieyes.

    Parisian women lead on a march on Versailles to protest about scarcity and expensive bread. King agreed to meet with some of the Women and promised to give all the bread in Versailles to the crowd. One of the earliest and most significant events of the French Revolution

    Thousands of people are sentenced to death after conflict between two political parties the Jacobin's and the Gridirons. Leader of Jacobin's Maximilian becomes a new leader of the Revolution.

    Execution of Robespierre
    Revolutionary leaders had enough of him and was arrested and executed along with some of his supporters. Maximilian Robespierre, leader of the Jacobin's is executed and power of the Jacobin's fall with him. Girondin's gain power as a result.
