    Prerequisites to the French Revolution.
    In 1778 France suffered from a severe winter, this caused the harvest to be pour. With poor harvest the price of bread skyrocketed in Paris causing bread riots. This paired with the fact that France had been hemorrhaging money and was broke in 1789.

    Louis XIV Calls Estate General
    Fearing an economic crisis at hand King Louis called the Estates General to discuss the matters of raising taxes. This caused the First(Nobility) and Second(Clergy) Estate to team up and deny higher taxation for them and instead claim the Third(Common Folk) estate should be taxed more, who barely had enough money to survive. This caused outrage among the common folk were they seceded and formed the National Assembly.

    Storming of the Bastile
    Following the creation of the National Assembly King Louis XIV ordered the army to disband the group. On July 14 a mob formed, fearing the army and stormed the bastille in order to find weapons to protect themselves. This event later became a symbol of the fight against the monarchy

    On this day the members of the newly found convention derail the power of the kind and transform France from an Absolute Monarchy to a Constitutional Monarchy, limiting his power.

    Following the Capture and Trial, King Louis XIV is punished for his crimes against France, in an act of hate for his leadership. Where he exclaimed "my people I die innocent!" and may or may not have song "Viva La Vida".

    Becoming President of the National convention, the prosecutor of King Louis XIV, led a term of radicalism with some 17,000 enemies of the revolution executed in his time. This ultimately ended with the execution of Robespierre himself.

    The French Directory or Directorate, was a Government propped up by the French Revolution by the Constitution of the Year III(as France no longer used the Gregorian Years but rather years since the start of the resistance). This government was a bicameral legislature.

    Following a successful coup 3 years earlier where Napoleon overthrew the government and gained major power within the government, Napoleon made it to where his was effectively king granting himself autorotate power and a hereditary claim.

    On this historic date Napoleon defies the ruling of the Church and ordanes himself as the Emperor of France. It is said that this view of himeself later changed and he felt he was the Emperor of Europe

    Whilst campaigning in Europe Napoleon is faced with the Duke of Wellington and Marhsal Blücher. The Battle ends as as a loss for Napoleon and marks the end of his conquest permately.

    Napoleon is Exiled to Saint Helena
    Following his defeat in Waterloo, Napoleon is exiled to the Island of Saint Helena under British watch. Napoleon does escape and makes and effort of reestablishing his empire but is foiled quickly.
