National Assembly
The third state created a national assembly to face the unfair voting system, it was established on a tennis court. (People of the other two classes could participate too, but it was mainly the third state). -
Tennis Court Oath
The king locked the third state out of their meeting place (Salon des Menus Plairsirs), the Tennis Court Oath, which had been built in 1686 to use the Palace of Versailles. Their vow "not to separate and to reassemble wherever necessary until the Constitution of the kingdom is established" -
The rights of man and the citizen
This document established equality, liberty fraternity and respect among all French citizens (obviously men).
This is one of the documents that inspired the further constitution. -
The Versailles women´s March.
A mass of angry french (mostly Parisian or surroundings) women, created a protest onto Versailles.
They basically forced king Louis 16th to say on the Palace of the Tulleries. -
Right of the women and the citizen
The Declaration is a text written by the French writer Olympe de Gouges12 paraphrasing the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. -

Louis 16th was accused of treason.
He was found guilty and died that same day executed on the guillotine. -

They had five directors along assemblies lead the country. -

He led a coup and adopted a new type of government, based by a Roman one, called the Consulate -

Napoleon named himself the emperor of France and left his family commanding territories all over Europe. -

Spanish independence war
Spanish created a dispute against the king.
This finished with Spanish independence. -
Waterloo
Napoleon was defeated in The Waterloo battle and sent to a remote island, where he died days later. -
End of Empire
Monarchy comes back after Napoleon is deprecated.
