    This was a time period where they were trying to work out how they were going to pay for all of the wars they had been involved in. They wanted to do this by taxation, but they needed to assemble and decide how.

    The leader of the reign of terror was overruled and executed. It is believed that he was killed because he put two of his fellow politicians to death after a suspected bribe.

    Napoleon invaded France and took over by the means of Coup d'etat. He catered toward those in the third estate which meant that they allowed him to lead them in a new monarchy.
